Still Popular iMac Screen sizes

Posted on March 4, 2009 by Mac Onsite Posted in Apple Mac News

iMac 24 inch

These older models are very popular as they are bigger the the current 21″ and smaller than the 27″. But little compares to sitting in front of the glossy widescreen display framed in amazingly slim anodised aluminium. iMac instantly turns your workspace from a cluttered desktop into a brilliant display podium. For young people moving into thier first appartment don’t bother buying a TV, DVD player or video recorder because for as little as an additional $150 you can get turn your iMac into the swiss arm knife of Media Centres HERE.

Safari 4 beta released

Posted on March 3, 2009 by Mac Onsite Posted in Apple Mac News

Looks good and responds fast to surfer clicks. The shotcuts such as Apple-T are still there, so the surfer experience is familiar… with a few graphical differences such as the tabs are now in the header of the page – thereby saving a whole line of screen real-estate.

The Top Sites is a great first graphical list of the most popular sites in your history (no page-load) and the search feature is cool how it goes into “Cover Flow” mode.

Safari 4 beta doesn’t handle DHTML to well yet. WordPress 2.7.1 locked up the page when trying to add a url using DHTML…. so maybe it’s not time to upgrade yet.
